Hodgeman Mugshots Need Context
A booking photograph records appearance during a particular booking. It is not a finding of guilt. The person may have been released on bond while a case continued, transferred to another custodian, released after time served, or discharged after a sentence. The district court record supplies the disposition, while the sheriff’s booking/release transaction supplies the local custody event.
Kansas Open Records Act analysis may permit access to an existing booking image, but a booking photograph is not identical to an investigative file, medical record, protected identifier, juvenile record, or expunged material. The custodian may disclose one item while withholding another under a specific legal basis.
Hodgeman Photo Discovery Channels
No single source covers every person connected with Hodgeman County. Choose the channel that matches the booking or correctional system.
| Channel | Photo status | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Hodgeman sheriff roster | No official roster or gallery was found | Request the maintained booking photograph for a named booking. |
| Sheriff mobile app | No Hodgeman sheriff-branded jail app was verified | Do not describe VINEMobile as a county photo archive. |
| KASPER | May show a KDOC offender image on a matching state record | Use only when the person actually entered the Kansas state system. |
| Kansas VINELink | Custody search and alerts, not a permanent photo archive | Use for county-jail status, then request the official booking image. |
| Official news or sheriff social post | May selectively include an image | Treat the post as event-specific, not a complete release database. |
| Third-party page | May be stale, misidentified, or stripped of disposition | Use only as a lead and confirm through first-party records. |
The strongest local route is a focused request to the Hodgeman County Sheriff. The strongest state route is a matching KASPER record. An image found through one system should not be mislabeled as a photograph from the other.
No Hodgeman Mugshot Gallery
No verified official Hodgeman County booking-photo gallery or publication policy was located as of July 18, 2026. The county’s compact directory supplies sheriff contact information but does not link a roster, recent-release archive, or routine mugshot feed. There is no published photo field or retention window.
The defensible county-photo method is therefore a request for an existing image associated with a specified booking. Ask whether the sheriff maintains the photograph, whether it is disclosable, what electronic format is available, and what current charge applies. Do not infer that no photograph exists merely because none appears online.
The defensible state-photo method is KASPER, but only for KDOC involvement. A KASPER image may have been taken on a different date and by a different correctional agency than the Hodgeman County booking. Label it as a KDOC image, not a county mugshot.
Request a Hodgeman Booking Photo
Contact the Hodgeman County Sheriff’s Office at 620-357-8391 and confirm the current records custodian and submission route. The official directory lists the courthouse location at 500 Main Street, Jetmore, sheriff fax 620-357-8300, and hodgemancountysheriff@gmail.com, but it does not publish a dedicated KORA form or current fee sheet.
- Identify the person by full name and date of birth, plus the approximate booking date.
- Add the case number or booking number when known so the image is tied to one event.
- Request the existing booking photograph in electronic form, if maintained and public.
- Keep the photo request separate from investigative narratives, medical information, and protected identifiers.
- Ask for a cost estimate before fees exceed a stated limit.
- If any part is withheld, request the remaining public material and the legal basis for denial.
- Record the source, response date, booking date, and any stated limitations when the image is received.
KORA requires action as soon as possible and a response within three business days, but that response may produce records, deny with a reason, seek clarification or payment, or state that more time is required. It is not an absolute three-day production promise.
Kansas Mugshot Request Rules
K.S.A. 45-218 governs inspection, copying, and agency response procedures. K.S.A. 45-219 allows reasonable actual-cost fees. K.S.A. 45-221 contains exemptions that can affect law-enforcement records. Ask for an existing, identifiable image rather than asking the office to create a new report.
The official K.S.A. 45-221 exemptions page is shown below.

No verified Kansas statute creates a special statewide duty for every sheriff to post every mugshot. No special comprehensive Kansas anti-pay-to-remove law should be asserted here. General KORA rules, privacy limits, expungement, and case-specific restrictions control official access.
Hodgeman Sheriff App Is Absent
No sheriff-branded Hodgeman jail app was verified. VINEMobile is the statewide mobile interface for VINE county-jail search and notifications. It is not the Hodgeman sheriff’s app and should not be presented as an archival mugshot gallery.
The official county directory links a sheriff Facebook presence. Official social posts may carry an arrest photo in a newsworthy matter, but publication is selective. No policy says every arrest, booking, or release will be posted. The absence of a social post has no meaning for custody or photo availability.
The 24-Hour Release List and 72-Hour Release List workflows explain the same local absence of a roster. Neither page publishes names or images because Hodgeman County does not supply those feeds.
KASPER Photos Are State Records
Search KASPER when the Hodgeman County case resulted in a state commitment. Match the KDOC number, identity, sentencing county, offense and case information, and status before treating an image as the correct person.
A KASPER photo documents KDOC involvement. It may have been taken well after the county booking and may not match the image held by the sheriff. A purely local jail stay may never produce a KASPER record. Conversely, the Hodgeman sheriff cannot certify the source date or meaning of a KDOC image.
Preserve the image source and access date, and pair it with the state record’s exact custody or supervision label. A photograph alone does not show whether the person remains incarcerated, lives under supervision, or has been discharged.
Avoid Commercial Mugshot Mirrors
Third-party aggregators often retain images after official pages change, omit the court disposition, merge similarly named people, or repeat inaccurate facility details. They may also display a county image beside state or federal data without explaining the source. No commercial mugshot gallery is linked or endorsed here.
If a third-party result points to a possible record, verify identity and source through the sheriff, KASPER, and the court case. Do not reproduce the gallery. An old mirror should never be used to evade an official sealing or expungement restriction.
News and official social sources are also incomplete. They can document a specific public event, but the absence of coverage proves nothing. Note the publication date, image credit, stated booking context, and later disposition when a news image is relevant.
Hodgeman Expungement Timing Matters
Kansas expungement waiting periods for many eligible matters are measured from satisfaction of sentence or discharge from probation, community corrections, parole, postrelease supervision, conditional release, or a suspended sentence. The clock does not necessarily begin when the person first leaves jail. K.S.A. 21-6614 must be read for the offense, date, exclusions, and applicable period. Arrest-record expungement uses a separate route under K.S.A. 22-2410.
An expungement order changes public access and disclosure but does not mean the event never existed in every legally authorized context. Once an official source restricts the record, an obsolete mirror should not be used to reconstruct it. The public court portal may stop displaying an expunged case.
Kansas Legal Services publishes a changing statewide clinic schedule. The service lists kls_expunge@klsinc.org, but no permanent Hodgeman-specific clinic was verified.

Correct Hodgeman Photo Context
Every located image should be labeled with its source agency, access date, booking or correctional context, and the separate release or disposition record. Avoid sensational captions and image-first lists. A booking photograph reflects appearance at one point in time.
Use the Hodgeman County Jail path for a local booking image. Use Kansas Department of Corrections facilities for a KASPER image. Federal and immigration records belong with Federal Bureau of Prisons facilities or the ICE detention system only when those custodians are documented.
If the source later seals, removes, or corrects the record, do not preserve an outdated copy as if it remains current official information. The goal is accurate source discovery and context, not republication.
